LOS ANGELES – Gerry McCaughey, CEO of the El Segundo-based green consulting firm Infineco LLC, will speak at two upcoming meetings of Los Angeles business leaders.

Infineco CEO Gerry McCaughey led a recent fundraising effort for MaxWest Environmental Systems, raising $32.5 million in third-round financing for this renewable energy company, which is commercializing waste-to-energy technologies for wastewater processing. McCaughey serves as Chairman of MaxWest.

CHICAGO – Gerry McCaughey, CEO of the El Segundo-based green consulting firm Infineco LLC, will participate in the upcoming Clinton Global Initiative America Conference June 29 and 30 in Chicago.

In this presentation, Gerry McCaughey addresses why green legislation makes not only environmental sense, but also economic sense. As he outlines the socio-economic benefits of increasing energy-efficiency standards for new home construction, he also rebuts the argument that the increased standards will raise new home prices.

With 23% of carbon dioxide emissions generated by the heating and cooling of residential buildings in the United States, smart choices of technologies that maintain indoor air quality and create a comfortable environment could significantly reduce the greenhouse gases that contribute to climate change.
